Yes. It is included with the hosting service and stays valid for as long as that service is active. There is no separate charge and no client cap.

No. A Blesta license must be paired with one of our hosting plans.
No. The install lives on our servers. What it bills and provisions can be anywhere: our reseller plans, your own VPS nodes, or another provider. Run Blesta on a shared account in New York and your reseller server in Amsterdam if that suits you.
No. Blesta shows a Powered by Blesta link in the footer, and our reseller agreement has no unbranded option at any price. If you need an unbranded license, Blesta sells those directly. This is the one place WHMCS differs here, where unbranding is a paid upgrade on the higher tiers.
No. It validates against NameCrane IP space only. Blesta sells licenses directly if you ever move away.
Not the answer you are after, but it honestly comes down to preference and what you need. WHMCS has the larger ecosystem of addons and modules, and most integrators treat it as the first class citizen. The tradeoff is an encoded core: your customization stops at hooks, templates, and modules.
Blesta is not as widely supported, though that is growing, and almost none of its code ships encoded. You can change it deep into the core rather than work around it. Blesta 6 closed much of the gap as well: the admin panel was rebuilt from the ground up on Bootstrap 5 with dark mode designed in across every page, and releases are now cryptographically signed and verified with public and private keys during upgrade.
Cost only enters into it if you want WHMCS. Blesta is free with any plan here and has no client cap, while WHMCS starts at $8.49 a month with us.
