Terms of Service

These terms serve as our reference point when account issues arise. We strive for straightforward policies and our support team is always available to assist. We're open to resolving any misunderstandings.

1 Use of Products & Services

1.1 — Eligibility & Responsibility

Users must be of legal age and not barred by law from receiving services. You must provide accurate identification and registration information, remain responsible for account confidentiality, and immediately notify NameCrane of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

1.2 — Service Access & Data

NameCrane reserves the right to cancel or suspend your access to services at any time and for any reason without notice. Users cannot access stored data after suspension or termination and must maintain their own backups.

Pro-rata refunds apply if the company terminates service without cause.

2 Conditions of Use

2.1 — Prohibited Usage

Violations of the Acceptable Use Policy constitute prohibited usage, potentially resulting in immediate account suspension and/or termination without compensation.

2.2 — Intentional or Malicious Violations

Intentional or malicious violations trigger immediate termination and a permanent ban from all future services.

3 Account Registration

3.1 — Contact Information

  • 3.1.1 Clients must provide a legitimate name and residential address.
  • 3.1.2 P.O. Boxes and forwarding addresses are not accepted.
  • 3.1.3 Phone numbers are not required.
  • 3.1.4 Registration and order placement must take place from the client's residential ISP.
  • 3.1.5 Account details must match payment method information.
  • 3.1.6 Account modifications require a billing department ticket.

3.2 — Restrictions

  • 3.2.1 No multiple personal accounts permitted.
  • 3.2.2 Account sharing is prohibited.
  • 3.2.3 Account name transfers to other individuals are forbidden.

4 Billing

4.1 — Invoicing

  • 4.1.1 Invoices for recurring services are issued ten (10) days in advance of the due date.
  • 4.1.2 Unpaid services are suspended four (4) days past the due date.
  • 4.1.3 Unpaid services are terminated twenty (20) days past the due date.

4.2 — Account Credit

  • 4.2.1 Account credit does not expire and cannot be transferred between clients.
  • 4.2.2 Existing credit automatically applies to future invoices.
  • 4.2.3 Add Funds invoices can be created between $15.00 and $300.00.
  • 4.2.4 Account credit may not be withdrawn or cashed out in the form of a refund.

5 Payments & Gateways

5.1 — PayPal

  • 5.1.1 Refundable within 3 days of initial payment.
  • 5.1.2 Must originate from verified PayPal accounts.

5.2 — Credit / Debit Cards

  • 5.2.1 Refundable within 3 days of initial payment.

5.3 — Cryptocurrency

  • 5.3.1 Bitcoin, Monero, Litecoin, DASH, and DOGE are accepted.
  • 5.3.2 Cryptocurrency payments are not eligible for refunds.

Due to the nature of cryptocurrency transactions, all crypto payments are final and non-refundable.

5.4 — Alipay & Cash App

  • 5.4.1 Alipay payments are not refundable.
  • 5.4.2 Cash App payments are not refundable.

5.5 — Software Licenses & Licensed Accounts

  • 5.5.1 Software license payments are non-refundable.
  • 5.5.2 cPanel-based hosting accounts are non-refundable when canceled outside normal refund windows.
  • 5.5.3 Plan downgrades within billing cycles receive no credit.

5.6 — Lifetime Accounts

  • 5.6.1 Lifetime accounts are not eligible for any sort of refund.
  • 5.6.2 Lifetime services cannot be transferred.

5.7 — Chargebacks / Disputes

Chargebacks result in immediate suspension of all services and potential termination without compensation.

6 Service Processing

6.1 — Service Provisioning

  • 6.1.1 Orders are provisioned during business hours if information complies with terms.
  • 6.1.2 Off-hours orders are provisioned within 24 hours.
  • 6.1.3 Non-compliant orders are held with a billing ticket opened.
  • 6.1.4 Holds exceeding 24 hours without client response are canceled with refunds issued.
  • 6.1.5 Unpaid orders over 24 hours are automatically removed.

6.2 — Service Modification

  • 6.2.1 Modifications cannot occur on or past service due dates.
  • 6.2.2 Downgrades credit the difference to account balance, if applicable.
  • 6.2.3 cPanel and Lifetime services do not qualify for downgrade credits.
  • 6.2.4 Upgrades bill the difference until cycle end.

6.3 — Service Transfer

Services may be transferred between clients if all of the following conditions are met:

  • Service has been active for at least three months
  • No unpaid or overdue invoices on either account
  • No ToS or AUP violations on either account
  • Both accounts are in good standing
  • Receiving account must confirm acceptance

6.4 — Service Cancellation

  • 6.4.1 Immediate cancellations process at 01:00 PST the following morning.
  • 6.4.2 End-of-cycle cancellations process at 01:00 PST on the service's next due date.
  • 6.4.4 Once cancellation has been processed, all related data and backups are permanently destroyed. This process cannot be reversed.
  • 6.4.5 Early cancellations credit remaining cycle balance, except for cPanel services, lifetime email, software licenses, or add-on IPs.

Always maintain your own backups. Once cancellation is processed, data recovery is not possible.

6.5 — Service Suspension

Suspended services go offline with no data access until the underlying issue is resolved.

6.6 — Service Termination

Upon termination, all related data and backups are permanently destroyed, and any associated IP addresses released back into the available pool. This process cannot be reversed.

7 Miscellaneous

7.1 — Support Hours

24 hours during weekdays (Monday through Friday). Weekend tickets are typically addressed within two hours.

7.2 — Billing Department Hours

8:00 AM – 3:00 PM GMT-7 weekdays, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM Saturday. Closed Sundays and US holidays.
