The detail

Why pay with a credit card?

What it is, and what to know before you pay.

Card

Credit or debit

We take Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover, credit or debit, issued anywhere. Maestro settles over the Mastercard network and Diners Club and JCB over Discover's, so cards carrying those marks work too.

  • Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.
  • Save the card once and renewals charge themselves.
  • Chargeback rights through your issuing bank.
  • Card details are held by Stripe, never on our servers.

Before you pay

The practical bits

Where the card lives
With Stripe. We hold a token, never the number.
Also covers
Maestro, over the Mastercard network, and Diners Club and JCB, over Discover's.
Currencies
We bill in USD. Your bank may add a foreign transaction fee on a non-USD card.
Renewals

Set it and forget it

Save it once and renewals take care of themselves. Or don't, and pay each invoice as it arrives.

Renews on its own

Renewals charge themselves when they fall due. Switch it off for any service whenever you like.

A token, never the details

Your card or account stays with the processor. We keep a token that is useless anywhere else, and you can remove it any time.

Your tier climbs with it

Pricing tiers unlock on their own as your deposits grow. No promo codes to hunt for, no tickets, no asking nicely.

Paying with a credit card

No. Stripe holds the card and we keep only a token, which is useless anywhere else.

Only if you save the card. Renewal reminders go out before anything is charged, and you can turn auto-charge off per service.

Most declines are the bank rather than us, usually 3-D Secure or a foreign transaction block. Try again and approve the prompt, or call your bank. Nothing is charged on a declined attempt.
