Taking part in the NameCrane Billing Beta

How to get started

Your first job is to signup at https://namecrane.org/register

You must use a valid email as you’ll be required to verify your email before you can proceed.

Once signed up you can place an order. Fraud checks are disabled during the beta, and stripe test cards must be used for payments.

Domains?

COM/NET/ORG/XYZ are all available to purchase. These domains are all on the registry testnets, it won’t actually register google.com for you, sorry.

XYZ seems to be the only registry we offer at the moment that has a WHOIS for OTE. You can register an .xyz domain and check the changes at https://whois.ote.centralnicregistry.com/. It might take upwards of 15 minutes for changes to appear.

Submitting bugs & feature requests

Please open a support ticket in this portal to report bugs/ideas. You can contact Francisco on Discord for longer discussions.

We aim to be ~1:1 with what features we already offer, while also adding a lot more (like DNS Management & Email Forwarding along with domains). Please don’t hesitate to bring up comments & concerns, as well as requests for features.

Some products (namely Offload SQL) will not be available during the Beta, but will be available once we go live. Offload SQL is undergoing a bit of a rewrite that will bring in Postgres support and some other Quality of Life improvements.

Bug Bounties

Bounties will be paid out for serious oversights (bypasses, dataleaks, etc) on our end. Minor quirks (“I keep rolling snake eyes!”) don’t count.
